Brick kiln owner Mohammad Irshad is also among those killed.
Search for missing continues till Saturday morning
This year the chimney was being blown for the first time and on this occasion the explosion occurred at the time of inauguration. According to the eyewitnesses, due to excess firewood in the chimney and high pressure of fire and smoke, there was a sharp explosion. The chimney fell on the crowd of villagers gathered at the inauguration and the people buried in it could not even splutter. 9 people died inside the hot and heavy chimney. In the midst of chaos caused by the blast, 15 people were sent to Ramgarhwa Hospital with the help of the police-administration. Among them, Gambhir was sent to SRP Hospital in Raxaul. After the chaos subsided, information about the disappearance of more than 10 people came to the fore. Till Saturday morning people are asking each other about them.
Chief Minister expressed grief over the incident A statement issued by the Bihar Police Headquarters said that the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police reached in time and admitted the injured to the hospital. Several fire tenders were deployed at the spot. Expressing grief over the incident, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that may God give strength to the affected families to bear this loss. He directed the officials to ensure that all the injured get the best treatment.
